About

I obtained Bachelor’s degree from National Formosa University and Master’s degree in Computer Science from National Taiwan Ocean University. I currently work as a UEFI/EDK2 BIOS software designer at Phoenix Technologies in Texas. focusing on AMD laptop, desktop, server, and embedded platforms.

I am a software engineer with over 20 years of experience in firmware and software development. Since 2009, I have specialized in BIOS firmware programming, with deep expertise in UEFI/EDK2 (UEFI Development Kit/UEFI Developer Kit) implementation. My responsibilities include UEFI driver programming, fixing BIOS silicon bugs and integrating AMD AGESA across various AMD platform generations. I also provide architectural consultation on silicon-related code and offer technical guidance to both internal team members and customer engineering teams facing complex challenges.

Before this role, I spent six years working in Linux firmware and driver development, focusing on embedded system integration, porting, and networking firmware. I have hands-on experience developing firmware for a wide range of hardware platforms, including Intel, AMD APU, LEON3 (SPARC V8), ARM7/9, StrongARM, Intel XScale IXP425, PXA270, MIPS, MCU 8051/6502, and various custom SoCs.
